Tanflex PLUS oral spray

TANFLEX PLUS is a colorless spray solution with a mint flavor.
It is sold in packaging containing brown glass bottles with an HDPE cap and a spray device.
TANFLEX PLUS contains chlorhexidine, an antimicrobial substance that kills microorganisms or prevents their growth, and benzydamine, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and exerts a local anesthetic effect (eliminating the sensation of pain at the site of administration) when applied externally.

Tanflex is used for

the treatment of gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis and aphthous lesions, which are accompanied by inflammation and pain in the oral and throat mucosa.
the cleaning of the mouth and throat, relieving the patient's swallowing function, and for relieving the symptoms of gingival disorders.
before and after surgical interventions on teeth and surrounding tissues.
the prevention of dental plaque, and
the treatment of mucositis due to radiotherapy or of other origin.

Instructions for use

Instructions on proper use and dosing/administration frequency:
TANFLEX PLUS is applied directly to the throat or the inflamed area. The usual dose is 5 to 10 sprays. It is applied at intervals of 1.5 to 3 hours throughout the day.

Certain age groups:

Use in children: In children over 6 years of age, the spray is applied directly to the throat or the inflamed area. The usual dose is 5 sprays. If necessary, the dose can be repeated every 1.5 to 3 hours.
The use of TANFLEX PLUS is not recommended in children under 6 years of age.

For external use on the inner surface of the mouth and throat.

Active substance:

1 bottle (30 ml) contains 36 mg chlorhexidine gluconate
45 mg benzydamine hydrochloride.

Other ingredients:

polysorbate 20, sodium saccharin, mint essence, ethanol (96%), glycerin, deionized water.
