Tanflex PLUS oral spray

  • It is a colorless spray solution with a peppermint flavor.

  • It is available in packaging that includes a brown glass bottle with an HDPE cap and a spray applicator.
  • It contains chlorhexidine, an antimicrobial agent that kills microorganisms or prevents their growth, and benzidamine, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and exerts a local anesthetic effect (eliminating the sensation of pain at the site of application) when applied topically.

Tanflex is used for:

  • Treating gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and aphthous lesions associated with inflammation and pain in the oral and throat mucosa.
  • Cleansing the mouth and throat, easing the swallowing function for patients, and relieving symptoms of gingival disorders.
  • Use before and after surgical interventions on teeth and surrounding tissues.
    Preventing dental plaque.
  • Treating mucositis caused by radiotherapy or other origins.

Instructions for proper use and recommended dosage/frequency:

TANFLEX PLUS is applied directly to the throat or inflamed area. The usual dose is 5 to 10 sprays, applied at intervals of 1.5 to 3 hours throughout the day.

Specific Age Groups:

  • Children (over 6 years old): The spray is applied directly to the throat or inflamed area. The usual dose is 5 sprays. If necessary, the dose may be repeated every 1.5 to 3 hours.
  • Children under 6 years old: The use of TANFLEX PLUS is not recommended.

For external use only on the inner surface of the mouth and throat.

Active Ingredient:
Each 30 ml bottle contains 36 mg of Chlorhexidine Gluconate and 45 mg of Benzidamine Hydrochloride

Other Ingredients:
Include Polysorbate 20, Sodium Saccharin, Peppermint Essence, Ethanol (96%), Glycerin and Deionized Water.
